What is going through 12 miles of pain in comparison to a lifetime of torture?

27 million women are in bondage around the globe with someone becoming a victim of modern-day slavery every 30 seconds. Only 1-2% of the said 27 million are ever rescued. This could easily be someone close to you or me.  I figured it was about time I put two of the things I spend a lot of time doing (gyming and social networking) to some good use and do my bit to help raise awareness and funds to go toward combating this atrocity.
