Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 26/27 June 2010, something like 48 walkers from Mayer Brown (work, girlfriends and world cup commitments permitting) will begin a trek to cover 25 peaks in the Lake District in an alleged period of 24 hours. They have told us which peaks but I missed the presentation so I'm not totally sure. Some comparison was made to the height of Everest.
The biggest worry is that if England do not top their group in the world cup, we need to finish on the Sunday 4 hours earlier than expected. If England do top their group we can then spend several hours on Saturday evening after an intensive day of effort trying to track down the one patch of ground near our camp site (yes, we're CAMPING) that has TV signal.
We're not doing this for fun! We're doing it for Epilepsy action, in memory of a Mayer Brown trainee who tragically died last year. Please do give generously.
Individual challenges are being accepted in exchange for additional pledges, Paddy Hennessy has agreed to carry me for 1/4 mile on his back and we are considering Sumo suits for day two if sufficient money is pledged. Be creative, but at the very least, be generous!
