I have set myself a personal goal of raising £2,000 for Dolphin House Charity.
In the current climate small charities like Dolphin House need our support so I'd be grateful if you could support me in reaching my target.
If like me you've personally benefited from complementary therapies - whether its Oseopathy for a bad back (that's me!) or Reflexology to relieve stress from the day job (heaven!) - you can really understand the value of treating babies and young children with natural therapies. It's often the simpliest of ailments that can be the most debilitating.
The majority of children that Dolphin House treats through their unique children's clinic are suffering from chronic ailments such as insomnia, asthma, eczema, behavioural problems, immune system deficiency and a range of digestive disorders. These chronic conditions can be hard to treat effectively by traditional methods, particularly in small children.
The charity provides children with sustained courses of complementary treatments which are not available on the NHS.
In the current recession, Dolphin House's service for children and their families is more necessary than ever, since health is often one of the first casualties of economic hardship. Many of the families they support are on low income.
A donation of £25.00 will treat one child.
If everyone I know gives £25.00 (or more if you can afford it!) we'd reach this target in no time at all!
