The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

Hey, Hola, Bonjour, DON'T LEAVE!

Thanks for coming to my page. I've been inspired by a crazy fairy to take part in £Grand Intentions for the National Autistic Society so I'm putting on a charity gig night in Chameleon Bar (Back Colquitt St L1) on 23rd July to raise £1000. There will be performances from ace bands like Matchstickmen, Dan Elson & the Rhythm Pixies, The Lees and Mechanical Spaniard. There's also a raffle with amazing prizes and a few little surprises here and there. Tickets are £6 each.

If you'd like tickets here's what you do: Place your £6 per-ticket donation on here and  I'll put you on the guestlist so we don't fleece you at the door on the day. You can also donate in person if you're a bit frightened of the scary JustGiving website. If you can't make the gig and would like to donate anyway, even the smallest donation is important. Also, my loyal Team Schemers and helpers will be skulking the venue with buckets for you to donate your spare change in a drunken haze. 'Tis why I love them so much :).

The NAS is an amazing cause and it's very important to me. Autism is a serious, lifelong and disabling condition and without the right support it can have a profound, sometimes devastating affect, on individuals and their families. The NAS is the UKs leading charity for people affected by autism. Over 500,000 people in the UK have autism. Together with their families they make up over 2 million people whose lives are touched by autism every single day.

Despite this, autism is relatively unknown and misunderstood. Which means that many of these 2 million people do not get the level of help, support and understanding they need. We’re hoping to change this.

The standard blurby blurb is below. Thank you so much for opening your hearts and purses/wallets/pockets :)

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Please dig deep and donate now.

I love you alll

Jill.
