OK, Here we go,
TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT
Wish me luck!
Yep, I'm really going to do it! At 11PM on 8th October that'll be me up on top of there! That is Centre Point (those who know Oxford Street will know it well). It is 400 feet high. And I intend to abseil off it at night.
As those of you who know me well will be aware, the RNIB is a charity close to my heart. If I really fear one thing it is losing my sight. When I am on top of that building and look out over the London nightscape I'll be trying to remember to really appreciate being able to see it. Others are not so lucky and life doesn't give any of us any guarantees. There are very many worthy causes and each of us must make their own decision about what we can do for the ones that strike a chord with us.
