I am taking part in a sponsored abseil on Saturday 12 September 2009.   I will be abseiling more than 80ft down the tower of St Mary's Church in Watford, raising money for ASCEND.

ASCEND has been an important part of my life for more than 10 years now.   I have been on several courses at ASCEND and the staff have given me confidence to move forward in my life.   I am now volunteering at the project, helping with the Job Club, Silver Surfers Day and the new Internet Cafe on a Tuesday evening.   ASCEND is a fantastic project in this community and helps many people like myself to "Get up and GO!"
