Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Well the time has come, the talking must stop, the preparation is all done and now the challenege begins, it's 22nd October and I will be flying off from Heathrow.  The cycle challenge begins on Saturday 24th, please keep an eye on this page as I hope to be able to update it.

I have completed part one of the challenge and im in one piece, Vietnam is a fascinating place and the route has taken me to some of the remotest parts that only a cyclist would see, truly amazing.  However it has not all been plain sailing, up at 6 and on the bike at 7, and riding kms in heat, torential rain and high humnidity.  At times it was tough but I rememberd why I was doing it and that spurred me on.  Off to cambodia on Wednesday to complete part two.

Part two completed and again in hot tempreatures, but i survived in one piece. it was an amazing experience which challenged me not only physically but also mentally and emotionally

I am grateful to all my sponsors who have helped me raise such a magnificient amount for the Hospice, your support is invaluable to me.

The Hospice is very special and provides specialsit palliative care to people with life limiting illnesses and offers support to their families and carers.

As a family earlier this year we experienced first hand how invaluable that support is, my twin sister Nic needed the specialist care that the Hospice provides and thankfully they were able to help.

This therefore makes my challenge that much more personal and all the support you can give will be very much appreciated not only by me, but also by my Sister Nic (she would love to join me but isn't well enough) and the Hospice.

I am ow in Oz with my elder sister Lynda and her family, it is a great opportunity to catch up with them and recover, all i seem to do is sleep!

Thanks again

Jim
