We will do whatever it takes to help you live life as fully as you can
Story
My father Jim was a cousin of the late Bobby Bute, boxing coach to both Willie Neil (right) and Tony Jeffries (left) at SABC. Under 's tutelage Willie and Tony represented their country and also reached their first championship finals and were arguably two of his best. Bobby Bute died in 2005 after his last fight with caner during which he held in the highest regard the Macmillan Cancer Support staff and was grateful to have them in his corner.
So in respect of the work they do in support of thousand of sick and dieing its only fitting to chose the sport he loved to raise money for there cause.
I have never boxed before so I’ve been privileged to have had Willie Neil with 165 fights and represented in ’s and the Multination as a trainer and mentor. The fight itself may not seem very long but the preparation for it getting fit and learning the art of boxing has been a real eye opener.
At Macmillan, we will move mountains to help people with cancer live life as fully as they can.
We’re doing whatever it takes. But without your help we can’t support everyone who needs us. To
