Marie Curie provides care and support for people living with any terminal illness across the UK. Our nurses work night and day in people’s homes and our hospices offer specialist care. We also support people emotionally, provide practical information, and match them with trained volunteers.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Marie Curie are raising money to build a new hospice in Solihull to replace Warren Pearl which has, for many years, provided such wonderful care to the terminally ill in and around Solihull. The fantastic nurses and staff have worked with the rather cramped conditions at Warren Pearl for many years and it would be fantastic if the care that they provide could be provided in a modern, purpose built building that allowed patients and their families to be cared for with privacy and dignity - that is what the Big Build appeal for the new hospice is all about.

In aid of the appeal I and some 50 odd other intrepid cyclists are riding from Solihull to Paris in 4 days in September this year and I hope you can spare a few pounds to support Marie Curie's Big Build. I can't thank you enough!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
