Swim the Solent · 21 July 2014

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Thanks for visiting!

On the 21st July 2014 I will be taking part in the Ian Pratt MND Challenge and swimming 5.25Km across the Solent - one of the worlds busiest shipping channels - to raise money for MNDA - supporting those with Motor Neurone Disease.

I was invited to get involved by Tony Bray - the inspirer behind the idea - who first swam the Solent in 2013 for MDNA after watching a Taming Tigers presentation. So how could I say no to the opportunity to join his team and raise funds for those living with MND?

Luckily, I will not have to hold my breath for this challenge...

Every donation counts - please, please take a moment to give a little to help improve life for those dealing with MND in their lives.
