The RAF Benevolent Fund is the RAF's leading welfare charity. We have been there for all members of the RAF Family for over 100 years. Last year we assisted more than 70,000 members of the RAF Family. Support us in 2024 and help us reach even more members of the RAF Family.

Story

The RAF Benevolent Fund is a remarkable charity that exists to serve the whole of the RAF family - including current and former personnel, their partners and dependants.

The work they do supporting the people around the RAF is truly impressive, typically providing £17m in welfare to around 41,000 people in need every year. This must be raised entirely through donations as they do not recieve any Government funding.

East Scotland Universities' Air Squadron has assembled 3 teams to tackle the Edinburgh Marathon Festival Hairy Haggis Relay on 27th May 2018 to raise money for this fantastic cause. Especially since 2018 marks the centenary of the RAF, now is an ideal time to show our appreciation to the men and women that have served this country.

Any donations would be very much appreiated by ESUAS and the RAF Benevolent Fund.
