My story

Hi Folks and welcome to Anotherwayarounds latest fund raising page.. Whether you have heard of us or not your just about to. We are a group of Bikers based in central Scotland that voluntary raise funds for our chosen charities and in doing so we have raised over £40 k in the last three years.. Last year we even gave away a brand new BMW F800GS motorbike to a lucky winner..You can check us out on www.anotherwayaround.com ..

One of our chosen charities this year is again CHAS,, a very worthwhile charity that is based here in Scotland that offers support to families way more unfortunate than what we could ever imagine , please check their site out at http://www.chas.org.uk/ ,, i hope you agree a very, very worthwhile charity, especially when children are needing the care, attention and in some cases 24hr nursing. Please donate what you can ,, remember all the money you donate here on this page goes direct to CHAS and for every pound you give the charities get 25p in gift aid money so whether it be a pound or a tenner it all counts ...

This year you may have guessed from the above title that we are about to hit The gruelling West Highland Way, bring it on.....

Now to the name of our event "Rocking All The Way",, where does the rockin part come from i here ya cry.. Well as from today one of the greatest ever singer//song writers ever to come out of our "Wee" nation with classic albums behind him such like "Vigil In a Wilderness Of Mirrors" and his latest offering of the great "13th Star" the one and only "FISH" has joined our plight to raise as much as we can for our chosen charities.. You might also know him as the larger than life fella at the front of the classic line up of the band "Marillion".. You can check Fish out at http://www.the-company.com/ where you can get the latest news on his Tour dates and buy the mentioned to name a few classic albums ..

So the date for the walk is set for the 22nd of May 2010, no doubt it will be tough and the weather unforgiving on various stretches but will be well worth it ..

I must  thank Mo and Pete at Grafixation (http://www.grafixation.co.uk/) for all their help and hard work as if it was nt for their dedication there would be no www.anotherwayaround.com ,, thanks folks we owe ya.

Again i have to thank oncle FISH for coming on board this year and for all the help in previous and for the copious amounts of costa rican coffee he has made us,, jesus wheps his coffee is the Nuts.

I must also thank all the guys and gals involved in anotherwayaround for all their work and effort from now and previous  years ,, you know who ya are ,, cheers dudeeees

Please dig deep folks and i will be seeing ya Jim Mitchell AKA The Daveeedoff
