Post climb
Thank you to everyone who has sponsored me so far, and who are continuing to do so now the climb is complete!

The team did brilliantly and managed to get 9/10 of the climbers to the top, a feat that is very impressive considering the usual rate of success is nearer 70%.

The climb itself was by far the hardest thing most of us, certainly myself, have ever done. Battling tiredness, headaches, nausea and the ever changing weather, it took a huge effort from everyone. It certainly would not have been possible if it weren't for a great team spirit and also very helpful and expereinced guides.

I have added some of my favourite pictures from the climb on the left hand side of the page. Once again thank you very much for your support.

Original message
In September 2011 i will be trekking up Mt Killmanjaro alongside colleagues from Selwood. This will be the climax of a year of fund raising for UK cancer charities (UK cancer Research & Wessex Cancer Trust), and although i have personally set a target of £3,000, our collective target is £65,000.

If you feel you could sponsor me to do this it would great; as it all goes towards a worthy cause. For those who are not impressed by the fact i will trekking up Africa's highest mountain, maybe you could sponsor me for the fact I will not be drinking alcohol for at least 7 days.

100% of the money raised will be going directly to Charity.

Thanks for your support
