I am fundraising throughout the coming year and then late in the summer in 2012 I will be walking up Mount Kilimanjaro.

There is a team of 25 of us from The University of Shefield climbing the mountain so we will be relying on each other for support, encouragement and a few laughs!

The money we raise will be going to a charity called Dig Deep and we aim to raise in excess of £62,500.

Dig Deep focuses on delivering renewable energy projects to provide clean water, cooking gas and electricity to deprived communities in Kenya. 

The money I raise will go towards a new clean water project in Kenya which will provide many thousands of people with clean, sustainable and safe drinking water.

I will be walking up the mountain (Africa's highest at 19,300ft) and running the Sheffield half marathon to raise money as well as other fundraising events.
