About our charity : Cardiac Risk in the Young Cardiac Risk in the Young
Hundreds of young people die unexpectedly of heart defects every year. CRY works to raise awareness of Sudden Death Syndrome (SDS) and campaigns for proactive screening of young people. It offers help and support to those who have suffered a loss, provides medical information, carries out Mobile Cardiac Screening and ECG Testing Programmes within local communities and contributes to medical research. Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please sponsor me online and assist myself and the above team to raise some serious money for a great cause in memory of a top bloke. Duncan tragically died at the age of just 23.

Duncan was a genuinely nice guy and and a very talented footballer. Just a week before his unexplained heart attack, he scored a trademark goal, breaking from the right wing position that he had quickly made his own at 'The Baps'. He was a fit, intelligent young man and having graduated from Oxford Uni, had a bright future ahead of him.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure.
