<p>For the last year, I have been leading a Public Appeal to raise &pound; 1/2 million so that my hospital can buy a new state-of-the-art CT Scanner by the end of this month&nbsp;(April 2011).</p> <p>The Appeal has reached &pound;480,000 and our final fundraising event is a Fire Walk - that means what it says - a walk over 20 feet of burning hot coals!</p> <p>Despite my advanced age, I am leading from the front and taking on this challenge myself.
