For the last year, I have been leading a Public Appeal to raise £ 1/2 million so that my hospital can buy a new state-of-the-art CT Scanner by the end of this month (April 2011).

The Appeal has reached £480,000 and our final fundraising event is a Fire Walk - that means what it says - a walk over 20 feet of burning hot coals!

Despite my advanced age, I am leading from the front and taking on this challenge myself. Please support me in my hour of stupidity by donating to this worthy cause - maximum £10.
