Yes, the madness has prevailed again. With the support of family and a very good 'crafty' friend I have been persuaded to run in the 2010 Christchurch marathon. It is supposedly one of the flattest marathons and therefore 'should' be slightly 'easier' than the London one. Then again I was 5 years younger then!

 

I am planning to raise money for the Alzheimer Society in The United Kingdom, in honour of my dad, and for the West Auckland Hospice in New Zealand, in honour of a good friend struck down by this horrible disease.

 

Please give generously to either of these causes. If you wish to donate to the cancer charity you can do so directly at www.wah.org.nz and just write in the comments that you are sponsoring me in memory of Sian.
