The Motability Scheme helps 650,000 disabled people in the UK by leasing them a suitable and affordable car, powered wheelchair or scooter. Motability, as a charity helps around 8,000 Scheme customers each year who cannot afford the vehicles, adaptations or driving lessons they need.

Story

Hello! Thank you for visiting my page. On the 18th October I will be running my little legs off in the Cardiff Half Marathon.  And to show how generous I am, I will be donating all proceeds (that you generously donate) to Motability

The Motability Scheme enables disabled people to use their government funded mobility allowances to obtain a new car, powered wheelchair or scooter. Motability do amazing work to help disabled people (and their friends & family) become mobile.  The money I raise will make a huge difference to a disabled persons life, it will help pay towards a particular car the customer needs which they otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford, it will also be used to pay for adaptations on a car so a customer can drive with comfort and ease and have more accessibility getting in and out the car.

Please dig deep and support me in my quest to help others.  It’s really easy to donate (I’ll be doing all the hard work by puffing my way around 13.1 miles!).  All you have to do is just click on that big blue ‘Donate Now’ button and away you go.  As Tesco’s say “every little helps!”

Please be generous.  It’s a good deal, I’ll sweat and pant my way across Cardiff and you get that lovely feel good factor.

Have I guilt tripped you enough yet?  I hope so…. See you on the other side!

Thanks again for visiting.

Love Jo x
