Back in January 2018 I spotted an ad on the tube for the Clipper Round the World Race - and a few weeks later I was signing a contract to take part!

I'm a part of Team UNICEF, one of eleven teams racing around the world starting in London on 1st September 2019. The race is divided in to eight legs, and I'm joining for Leg 7, which starts from Seattle in May 2020. This part of the race sees us head down the West coast of the USA, transit the Panama Canal, and race back up the East coast to our finish point (still tbc). It will be a huge challenge, both physically and mentally, and I'm grateful for any support to help Team UNICEF smash our fundraising target.

All race participants pay their fees to take part, so all donations go directly to the charity, and do not subsidise my place on the boat.
