On July 10th, as part of a Crest Advisory team, I'll be taking part in the British 10K run around central London to raise money for the National Association for People Abused in Childhood.
This is a cause close to Crest's heart. The National Association for People Abused in Childhood (NAPAC) is closely associated with the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (via the member of their Victim & Survivor Consultative Panel, Peter Saunders) where I've worked closely over the last year.
At the National Association for People Abused in Childhood, £50 provides training for a new volunteer, £15 provides information packs for 10 survivors of child sexual abuse.
Crest Advisory are running to raise money for NAPAC and Victim Support where we've also worked closely over the last three years.
At Victim Support, £50 could help to get a family at risk of domestic violence out of immediate danger, £10 could help make sure a young witness is prepared to give evidence in court.
