Superheroes Saving Sight Abseil · 2 May 2015

Sightsavers' vision is of a world where no one is blind from avoidable causes and where visually impaired people participate equally in society.

Story

On 2nd May 2015, Fiona O'Sullivan, Sally Lloyd and I are going to be joining the Traveleyes Team and abseiling down the front of the Royal Armouries in Leeds City Centre dressed as superheroes (if Charlie's Angels count as superheroes?!).

Our aim is to raise funds for Sightsavers.

Sightsavers is an international charity working to eliminate avoidable blindness and support people who are irreversibly blind to live independently.

There are 39 million blind people in the world, but 80% of blindness could be prevented or cured. That's 31.2 million people who are blind when it could have been avoided.

Please donate and help us to raise mush-needed funds for Sightsavers, so that they can continue their amazing work.
