Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

This year my Dad Ross has decided to go even bigger. He is planning a 150 mile charity tractor run in one of his prize winning vintage tractors, a rebuilt blue fordson major. He will be departing from Crediton, Devon on Friday 24th in the morning to make the 75 mile trip down to St Teath, Cornwall. He will then make the same trip back the following day arriving back in Crediton on Saturday 25th April in the afternoon. On the return journey he will be joined half way back with a range of other vintage tractors from the Devon Tractor Club to support him in completing the last part of his 150 mile trip.

Please feel free to come and cheer him on his way on the Friday or give him a beep if you see him on your travels!

In December 2011 our family was devastated at the sad loss of our Mum Carol to Motor Neurones Disease. Hospiscare in Exeter provided a wealth of support and advice for our family to make life more comfortable for my mum during the dramatic deterioration of her health. MNDA gave us so much support to the family during mum's diagnosis about the diesease that was totally unheard of to us.

These 2 charities made a huge difference to the amount of support and advice we received in order to care for mum is the best possible way.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story and help us raise money in the fight towards Motor Neurones Diesease

All the Best

Jo
