The National Literacy Trust aims to create a society in which everyone has the reading, writing, speaking and listening skills that they need to fulfil their own and, ultimately, the nation’s potential.

Story

Hello

I'm taking part in the Where's Wally? Dash in London on Sunday 13th June!  I'll be running (dressed as Wally!)  5k round Greenwich Park  to help raise money for The National Literacy Trust.

The National Literacy Trust is an independent charity that transforms lives through literacy.

A staggering one in six people in the UK struggles to read and write.

Walker Books and the NLT strongly believe that literacy really can change lives - research shows that with good literacy skills, people are happier, more successful and more likely to contribute to society.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Together we can make a real difference through literacy; it is possible for people to improve their skills and change their lives.

Wish me luck!

Jo
