I am losing weight with Slimming World and I'm also taking part in Race for Life in York again this summer. I am raising money for Cancer Research UK in memory of my best friend Larna who lost her battle in 2002 aged only 34. Her son Jack was only 4 years old. Tragically her lovely mum Jenny also lost her battle 18 months previous to Larna.

As Charity Champion for my contract for Compass Group UK, i was invited to CRUK Head Office in London recently. We had the pleasure of meeting a Cancer survivor Vanessa Babbage who was a true inspiration and such a brave lady.

Not only will I raise money in memory of Larna and Jenny, but also to help in some small way to the fantastic work that CRUK do so that more people like Vanessa live to tell their story.
