Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. Shelley, Jackie and I are taking part in Race for Life at York Knavesmire on June 22nd 2014.

We raised a fantastic £340 by taking part in the Twilight Race for Life in October 2013. With a little gentle persuasion, Tim volunteered to Grow his Mo for Movember to raise even more for this fantastic cause last November. I am also losing weight with Slimming World and £5 for every pound I lose is being donated to CRUK.

Cancer certainly has touched the lives of all of us and those of you who are close to me know that I support this cause in memory of my best friend Larna who lost her battle 12 years ago at the age of 34, and her lovely mum Jenny who sadly also lost her battle 18 months previous to that at the age of just 51.

Strensall Posse Ladies are raising money for CRUK to celebrate the lives of 2 very dear friends of ours, who have certainly had a rollercoaster 12 months but have both now had a happy ending.

CRUK is a fantastic organisation and by donating we will help them find a cure for Cancer so that more people survive and can celebrate their lives.
