The Nuts Challenge · 1 September 2018

Child Rescue Nepal frees children from slavery. We rescue children, keep them safe and reunite them with their families. Child Rescue Nepal has rescued over 1,000 children but our work is far from over. We want to end child slavery in Nepal and we won’t stop until every child is free.

Story

I first went to Nepal in 2006 and again in 2008 and I have to say I fell in love with the country and its people. Whilst I was there I was lucky enough to volunteer with Child Rescue Nepal. I have seen the great work that Child Rescue Nepal does, and how vital their work is to the survivors of child trafficking and slavery. Child Rescue Nepal is a charity with a big heart and I am honoured to be taking part in The Nuts Challenge to help raise money for such a great cause.

The Nuts Challenge is a 7km obstacle course, or rather mud course! I have never ran an obstacle course before or even ran 7km for that matter, but i have decided to do it this year, covered in mud no less!

Any donations or words of encouragement you can offer would be greatly appreciated. You really will be making a difference to children's lives in Nepal.

Thank you for your time, and wish me luck! (I think I'm going to need it!)
