Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Ok, so this is the first time myself or my partner Ted have taken part in a charity event and its going to take all i have anyway to train to be fit enough for the event (for those who know me im not runner) but we are giving it everything we've got to raise money for the MS therapy centre in Trafford Park and also for Paul Walker who sadly passed away from MS in April 2011.

As most of you will be aware Paul suffered with an aggressive form of MS and passed away in April 2011. He is deeply missed by all his family and friends.

Paul took part in the Bupa Great Manchester run twice during his illness and succeeded in finishing the event on both occassions and even got his story published in a local newspaper.

With the inspiration from our love for Paul and his family and for the MS therapy centre we are wanting to raise £500.

The MS therapy centre work souly on volunteers and receive no government funding. They do excellent work and support not only people with MS but also their families.

Please please help us raise this money for the Therapy Centre, not only will it benefit them but it can help so many people.

You can donate through this justgiving page its simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
