Story
Having taken part in the GSR last year in the freezing cold, p***ing rain - I crossed the finish line, wrapped the tin foil super hero cape around my shoulders and vowed not to sign up for any more runs again …ever.
But as we all know, distance lends charm to the view and just a few months later here I am again feeling guilty every morning as I turn my alarm clock off, roll over and decide that 30 mins more sleep is preferable to an early morning training session. Happy days!
This year I am actually going to raise some money as well as my heart rate and hope to gather some pennies for the Wave 105 Cash for Kids charity that lends a helping hand to local children.
Please give me as much money as possible for the following reasons…… 1) This is the first time I have ever asked you 2) I look great in the tin foil super hero cape and YOU can help me get to the finish line and slip it on 3) See points one & two 4) I lack imagination (see point 3) and this is the only hope I have of reaching my target.
Thank you
