Along with my equally bonkers mate Jack, I am am running the Hogs Back Road Race on 13th December 2009. Not only is this race a whopping 8 miles, but it includes a 1.8mile hill!

We are both running in aid of The Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice and would really appreciate a small amount of sponsorship money from you. So, instead of buying that Grande Cinnamon Latte and extra large mince pie, why not give the money instead to a really worthwhile charity? The Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice based in Farnham offers Specialist Palliative care to adults facing the end of their life and to those who love and care for them serving a population of 600,000 across West Surrey and North east Hampshire. They care for seriously ill people and families both at the Hospice and out in the local community. Their philosophy is about living, not dying, and understanding that the modern use of the word "hospice" is about a specialist system of care across many professions in the community. All of the services are free of charge, but it costs 0ver £10,000 a day to offer such an exceptional standard of clinical care. This works out at a staggering £10.22 per minute! if you were willing to support me by only £3.00 this would pay for a day's worth of aromatherapy supplies.
