I have been talked into taking part in this weekend's 10K run at Heaton Park in Manchester to raise much needed funds and awareness for Barnabus Charity. We have the support of Manchester Fire Service, who are running in full fire fighting kit - now thats worth running for! :)

 

Barnabus are a local Manchester charity who provide hope and support to Manchester's homeless and vulnerable.

They have a drop in centre in Manchester City Centre where people can get help; showers, food, clothing, toiletry/dignity packs and blankets. Their support workers and volunteers befriend, listen and help connect people to emergency shelters and accommodation, offer advice on benefits and source new  ID.

 

Please make a donation towards this local charity - it's a very good cause and I'll love you forever (which is surely worth a pound) :-) xxx
