50th Anniversary London - Paris Bike Ride · 6 September 2012 to 9 September 2012 ·

Established in 1962 as the relief arm of Amnesty International, we are a separate charity and the only UK agency providing practical and financial support specifically to prisoners of conscience, individuals who have been persecuted for protecting and advancing human rights.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This small charity is dedicated to helping prisoners of conscience, individuals who have been persecuted for their conscientiously-held beliefs, provided that they have not used or advocated violence.  They work with those in exile in the UK and those in prison overseas.

In addition to relief and rehabilitation grants they provide bursaries for postgraduate study. They have helped me in the past and I would like to make sure they can continue to help others in the future.

Donating through JustGiving is simple and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So please dig deep and donate now.

Thank you.
