Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Throughout October, I'm walking in aid of the charity Action Village India (likely to be 25 miles: not on one day, I hasten to add!).

For over 20 years, Action Village India has provided long-term support to six Gandhian organisations working for change across rural India. Projects supported include; women's empowerment and training, girls' education, rights awareness and advocacy, organic farming and women and children's health.

I will be joining the group of supporters walking around London's Capital Ring throughout October 2011, in support of Ekta Parishad's March for Justice campaign - www.marchforjustice2012.org

The launch event on Sunday 2 October, where we will be walking 7 miles from Wimbledon Park to Richmond. Even even a small amount will make a big difference in India. Please support the 'marchers for justice' and this very important campaign by donating today:

Just £30 will pay for a marcher to walk to Delhi

Many thanks! Joanna
