I am planning to cycle from London to Paris this Summer to raise funds for research into Cancer. My wonderful Grannie died of cancer in March and it’s a disease that has taken so many people already and seems to affect everyone. I want to fight back, and raise some cash to try and make a difference.
The 300+ mile bike ride starts at 6am – eek! – on 14 July in South London and I have to cycle 95 miles – eek! eek! – with hills to Dover by 4.30 or I’ll miss the ferry!
Paris is one of my favourite cities but I’m expecting four, hot long days in the saddle, strenuous hill-climbs, chafing, and a lack of any proper veggie food before we glimpse the Eiffel Tower in the distance.
Please sponsor me. I shall be sharing a room in two star hotels along the way, and frankly I reckon I deserve the sponsorship for that alone!
