Hello! Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
We are raising money for CHECT - Childhood Eye Cancer trust. CHECT supports families whose children have been diagnosed with eye cancer ( retinoblastoma ) as well as raising awareness of this rare disease and funding research in treating and diagnosing cancer of the eye.
Our son Tom was diagnosed with eye cancer at the age of 2. CHECT was there for us, helping us to come to terms with what was happening and to support Tom through the trauma of the necessary treatment and in his everyday life.
Retinoblastoma only normally affects children under the age of 5 and if caught early, childrens eyes and sight can be saved.
Please help us to fight this disease by sponsoring us on our 50 mile walk/cycle ride along the Thames on September 24th and 25th.
