For those of you who are not aware I will be travelling to Ghana in June to help people who are less fortunate than ourselves. I feel we all take for granted the value of sight in our day to day lives. I will be travelling to Ghana with a team of 42 volunteers from across the world employed by Luxottica to include a team of optometrists and doctors who will hand deliver free vision care and eyewear to thousands of adults and children in need. As you can appreciate this is something which is completely out of 'my comfort zone'. I am excited about the fourthcoming challenge, looking forward to helping people less fortunate than I. ( hopefully I will give up some of my obssesive cleaning habits!!!!) then again....................................... On a serious note to aid in my fundraising appeal I am going to complete a 10k run on June 5th so I will need to make a change to my current lifestyle and start training!!!!!!
Please help me to raise as much money as possible. Your help is greatly appreciated.
