THE LOVELY LADY LOLA, MY TRUSTY STEED, AND I HAVE PLANNED A VERY LONG 15 MILE RIDE ACROSS THE WARWICKSHIRE COUNTRYSIDE ON THE 24TH SEPTEMBER 2017.

Although we love riding out and about, this ride is in aid of a very worthy cause, organised in conjunction with Ride for Research and Cancer Research UK.
Come rain or shine we will brace the elements and tackle one of our biggest hacks to date and I am sure we will have more fun knowing we are supporting a fantastic charity.

Why support me?
Every year in the U.K. There are over 350 thousand new cancer diagnoses!
The big C! Far too many people have been directly or indirectly affected by cancer. Cancer has a profound effect on the life of both the patient and their friends and family. Thanks to knowledge we already have, the average survival rate over 10 years post diagnosis is 50%. I believe there is still room for improvement. With thousands of Scientists researching causes of cancer, and developing treatments, I hope one day that figure will be even closer to 100%. However, there is only so much research funding available, Cancer Research UK relies on public efforts to help fund pioneering research. Any amount you can provide will help fund research projects nationwide.
