I have been saying since we came to Woodbridge School...one year I will do the annual fundraising bike ride....this is THAT year!  21st June is looming large...but we start before then, I am in training with my friend Claire who is also riding with me and we can be seen on the scenic lanes in Suffolk, putting in the miles (usually on a Friday morning...if its not raining...I see little point in training in the rain! and there has to be a coffee and cake stop involved...by now you will get the picture).  To appreciate the task involved I should tell you that the night before we cycle, we spend the night sleeping on the floor of the school in Islington! As it is a school with a lot of sensory equipment for the children with special needs, I have been tipped off that we need to make a bee line for the room with all the soft foam in it!!  This will, I am sure, make for a perfect nights rest before the big push!  Suffice it to say, having today received all the maps and instructions with scary words like The North Circular Road, the M11 (to be avoided...I hasten to add..) I am getting slightly freaked out!   It would be an enormous source of encouragement for me if I knew that you had all sponsored me, and that I couldn't let you down.  The money is going to a fabulous cause, The Bridge School Islington and, if you could sponsor me, I would be extremely grateful....perhaps they could buy more soft play equipment in case I do it again!!
