On 24th April 2016, thanks to a gold bond place for Hospice IOM and in my 50th year I will hopefully be on the start line of the 2016 London Marathon. No one has championed my sporting endeavours more over the years than my parents but unfortunately over the past few months they have both been diagnosed with terminal cancer and it is very unlikely that either will be here to see me run in April.  We have all lost people we love to cancer and other horrific illnesses and it is made all the easier by the care and support offered by Hospice IOM, so please give to a very worthy cause and on 24th April, I promise to do the best I can for all those who we have loved and lost.
