The Steve Prescott Foundation was set up by a totally inspirational man Steve Prescott MBE. In 2006 he was diagnosed with Pseudomyxoma Peritonei a terminal cancer & sought out to raise funds for The Christie Hospital and the Rugby League Benevolent Fund. The SPF changes the lives of so many people.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In October 2018, I along with 39 others including my sister and Linzi Prescott, will be climbing Mount Everest to base camp.  This will be a 16 day trek to Kala Patthar, which is 5,545m high.

After successfully completing the gruelling challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, in October 2017.  I have decided to put myself through the pain again, including the altitude sickness that I endured, to raise vital funds and awareness for Steve Prescott Foundation.

Steve's philosophy was "what the mind believes, the body achieves".  This mantra got me through my Kilimanjaro challenge and I will take this through with me to Everest.  Steve was an inspirational man, I admired greatly.  I was lucky enough to call Stephen a friend.

Through completing this challenge, I am looking to raise £4,700 for the Steve Prescott Foundation.  Any support however small will be greatly received.

Thanks for visiting.
