Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I donate to a number of charities but I collect annually for one charity in particular ADRA-UK.

Although not well known in the United Kingdom ADRA do great work in the UK (special needs programme, with a special needs camp in Wales) and around the world (working in partnership with governmental donors) providing medical support, famine support, educational programmes and disaster relief.

Did you know that "about half of the world's population (that's almost 3 billion people) live on less than £1 a day"?

It is my hope that you are able to assist me at this time by giving generously.  ADRA is working in over 120 countries and has been collecting and managing funds in the UK for humanitarian aid for over 96 years.

This worthy cause and I are wondering if you are you able to spare £5 or more to offer solutions to individuals who need our help right now. 

Education, skills training, health instructions, agricultural improvement, small business promotion, community development is all part of what ADRA do in their quest to end poverty. But to deliver hope we need your help.

ADRA respond to disasters and work in conflict zones to bring immediate assistance. Mainly, however, ADRA work to create lasting solutions, empowering people to make the best use of resources to reach their potential.
