Abseiling down the Spinnaker Tower · 1 June 2019

Our objective is simple: 'Building Better Futures' for young adults with autism, by providing bespoke employment training and work experience. Training takes place at The Autism Trust & Polly's Place in Camberley, which sells handmade gifts & art created by people with autism & their families.

Thomas and I both have big birthdays this year so we thought
we’d set ourselves an exciting challenge to mark the occasion!  On June 1st we will be abseiling down the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth.
For those of you who don’t know this south coast landmark then here is a link to show you what we will be doing:

Whilst Tom is extremely excited to abseil 100 meters down a
local landmark, I’m less so!  So, to give me the power to walk off the side of the Spinnaker Tower we are raising money for The Autism Trust.

The Autism Trust is a small charity with a big mission which is to create a future with purpose for young adults with Autism.  At the Trust's base in Camberley they provide employment and training opportunities for young adults just like Tom.

I will be hugely proud to complete this challenge with Tom and for him to show just how much ability there is in disability.  This is something the Trust does everyday and we very much appreciate any donation you can make.

Thank you,

Joe and Tom
