We are running race for life in memory of the bravest and most inspiring boy I know.
His name is Daniel Fagan and this is his story:
CLIC Sargent were a fantastic help to Daniel and his family, when he was diagnosed with leukemia in August 2012 at the age of just 18months.
For over 3 years Daniel was in and out of hospital having chemo, bone marrow transplant, stem cell transplant and radiotherapy and fought all the way. Sadly Daniel gained his angle wings in February and is missed incredibly by all that had the pleasure of knowing him.
CLIC Sargent were a great support to Daniels family, the main contribution being in the form of free accommodation close to the hospital. Only 1 parent could stay with Daniel in the hospital, but the CLIC house meant that both of his parents could stay close by, thus reducing travel costs and the stress associated with a round trip of 100 miles per day.
Please help to support this fantastic charity and ensure And ensure others in similar situations, continue to receive this fantastic support. It really does make a huge difference! Thank you!
