The Children’s Society is a leading children’s charity committed to making childhood better for all children in the U.K. They take action to prevent, rescue and support children facing violence, neglect, poverty and discrimination in their daily lives. They give children the hope and confidence they need to face the future with optimism.
 
Your donation will make such a difference; here are a few of the ways that it could be used:
 
*£100 pays for a year’s travel costs, allowing a project worker to visit and befriend a disabled child in a residential care home.
* £250 pays for 15 disabled children to have a day out to the zoo or the seaside.
* £500 pays to keep an emergency help-line for young homeless refugees open for     5 days.
* £1000 pays to fund group work with 10 children coping with the trauma of looking after parents who abuse drugs or alcohol.
