The 2Simple Trust helps families of children suffering from neuroblastoma. Help is given by the provision of financial assistance for treatment and other needs as well as the funding of research into the disease. This work will shortly be transferred to a new charity set up specifically for the purpose and called The Neuroblastoma Children’s Cancer Alliance.

A BIG thank you to Rob Brydon (Bryn from Gavin and Stacey) who donated on my justgiving page for this worthy cause! :-)

I completed the run today.. It was pretty hard but I done it! Keep donating to Ashley's charity: www.justgiving.com/ashleyhydeappeal1

Ashley was like any other 5 yrs old, happy,  friendly and energetic.  He loved going to school , playing with his friends and had a passion for trains, until spring 08 when he became poorly. He had become quiet, fatigue with constant  sickness and had pains so bad in his legs that he could no longer walk.

By june Ashley was hospitalised it was discovered that Ashley had a 10 - 12 cm tumour. He had cancer.  It was neuroblastoma – a rare aggressive and often fatal childhood cancer.

Ashley then started his fight for life over the course of a year he has endured treatments which no child should ever have to go through. He has tolerated 11 rounds of 8 different types of chemotherapy, major surgery, bone marrow and stem cell harvest followed by high dose chemotherapy, stem cell transplant, 14 days of radiotherapy and is now on cis retnoic acid a maintenance therapy. This is not including the countless scans, tests, biopsies, general anaesthetics and transfusions that Ashley has had to have. but throughout all this he has been increadbily brave some how has even managed to smile.

In the recent weeks tests have shown that Ashley has sadly relpased and we are now trying to raise mony for the 8h9 cns brain treatment and 3f8 humanized antibodies at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre in New York.

This treatment comes at a cost of £250,000 plus.

Please please help to reach this amount.

Many thanks.
