I am taking part in a challenge of a lifetime...jumping out of a plane at 10,000ft and will be joined by 50 fundraisers who have volunteered to do the skydive with me to raise vital funds for Essex & Herts Air Ambulance Trust .
The Charity is responsible for operating two Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) for Essex, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. It costs in the region of £380,000 per month to keep both helicopters flying and saving lives. The service enables Doctors and Critical Care Paramedics to be rushed to the scene of an incident, providing expert clinical care to patients that need it most, who can be flown to the most appropriate hospital. Essex & Herts Air Ambulance Trust receives no direct government or National Lottery funding and relies on public donations to keep both Air Ambulances flying.
If you can spare anything at all to sponsor me for this challenge it would make such a difference….every penny helps!
