Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I've always wanted to ride into Paris so I jumped at the chance to realise my dream and support a fantastic charity at the same time.  The plan is to cycle from London to Paris and then back to London again.  Make no mistake, riding over 1000 kilometers in 4 days will be quite a challenge. There will be pain, sweat, discomfort, whatever the weather throws my way and the effort of replacing more than 6,000 calories every day; I am looking forward to it immensely.  Not happy with all this, I decided to give myself an extra task - raising much-needed funds for a brilliant charity The Princess Royal Carers Trust who support carers who, unpaid, look after a family member or friend who is ill, frail, disabled or has mental health or addiction problems.  Carers can often be young people (even children) who look after disabled or sick parents, siblings or friends and if they can be given a little bit of support as a result of my efforts in the saddle then this will be a very worthwhile venture.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
