Story
Dear all,
Jez and Joe are taking part in the London Triathlon in August 2010.
We are raising money for the Children's Heart Federation which is a national charity working to meet the needs of children and young people affected by congenital and acquired heart conditions. It is a fantastic charity that aspires for all children with heart conditions having both their medical and social needs met so that they can live life to the full
Our target is to raise £1,400 and any kind of donation you could give us would be greatly appreciated. The money we raise would help send the parents of a newly diagnosed heart child a comprehensive information pack; provide parents with support from our helpline; enable families to stay together when a child is in hospital; and cover the costs of medical equipment for a heart child.
The London Triathlon is going to be a massive challenge - 1.5k swim, 40k cycle and a 10k run - and we are going to have put a lot of time and effort into our training. We are confident we can do it and the fact we are doing it for such a great cause is giving us that extra inspiration.
So if you could help us in our fundraising it would go a long way in helping us reach our target and ultimately helping the Children's Heart Federation and the great work that they do. If you would like to know more about the charity just click on this link: http://www.childrens-heart-fed.org.uk/
Thanks for all your support,
Jez & Joe
