Story

Hello everyone, and thank you for visiting my JustGiving page! As many of you are already aware I am running this year's London Marathon.

My place in this year's Marathon was secured by my work through the NFDC, and I therefore have to elect to raise money for one of their approved charities.

I have elected to raise money for the Snowden Award Scheme, please check out their website, it seems a great cause.

This year's Marathon takes place 22nd April, which is not very far away! Due to a recurring knee injury I have only just been able to knuckle down to some proper training, and am now running 30 miles a week at present, this still needs to be upped massively!

It's going to require a massive effort on my part to get me round the 26 miles on the day, but I will get there. I'm doing all the hard work; you have the easy job of simply opening your electronic wallets and giving generously. I probably should have mentioned earlier, another condition of running through the NFDC is that you must guarantee to raise over £1000... so please give generously!

Lastly, please feel free to come along on the 22nd with your banners and cheer me along. As well as myself, Matt Burke and Martyn Burnett from Hughes and Salvidge will also be running, and we'd all be very grateful for your support!

THANKYOU.

*Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.*
