As a father, the thought of a sick child fills me full of dread. the thought of something happening to my own children makes me sick to my stomach. To think that I would not be able to make my childs dream come true is horrendous.

Thankfully, Wishes 4 Kids are around and is a charity that tries to make the hopes and dreams of children come true.

 

Come the end of May, I along with three other police officers, along with a support team, will be cycling 999 miles (notice the theme?) from John O'Groats down to Lands End. I am hoping that a significant amount of money can be raised for this amazing charity. A heck of a lot of blood, sweat and tears will be shed (especially on my part). 

 

Please can you all dig into you back pockets, skip that packet of fags or that pint down the pub and just give what little you can. Maybe between us, we can help that one child have his/her dream come true.
