Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page and thanks for helping us celebrate our civil ceremony. 

We began planning our big day earlier this year, around the time of Comic Relief. We saw Annie Lennox visit four young brothers in Africa who had lost their parents to HIV. Annie was to accompany them on their long journey to be tested for HIV. The oldest was no more than 14 and had become father to this family, trying to raise the younger siblings . 

They had no support from family members, and were shunned from the rest off the community, left to find food, shelter and even the clothes on their back.

We have never been to Africa, we cannot imagine how lonely and frightening it must be for the thousand of kids like these ones to live such lives. We can try and raise some cash though through our big day of joy, thankfulness and friendship.

Annie Lennox inspired us to support a charity called HOPEHIV.

This charity helps these young orphans, with food, shelter, clothing, education, medication and support.

So come along and have a great time, and instead of putting your hand in your pocket to give us something we don't need, give to these kids instead.
